2016 Forum: Call for Ideas Fair Presentations
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 11:59AM EDT (noon) on Thursday, October 15, 2015.
Thank you for your interest in presenting during the Coalition Ideas Fair at Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America's (CADCA) 26th National Leadership Forum. Please note that this Call for Coalition Ideas Fair Poster Presentations is open ONLY to coalitions (youth or adult presenters, or both).
IMPORTANT: You will NOT be able to save the text entered into this system and come back later to complete or edit. If you haven't already, please create an electronic copy (word document) with your responses and when you are finished, return to this survey to cut/paste your information. A PDF of the survey questions is available on the CADCA Forum Ideas Fair web page. Also, the brief description for your idea that you submit in this form will be used in the National Leadership Forum Final Program, Website and other conference materials to promote the conference workshops. Be sure that you submit an interesting description that you would like conference attendees to see.
COALITION IDEAS FAIR PRESENTER OBLIGATIONS: (Please read carefully and be sure you can meet these obligations before submitting a proposal): The Ideas Fair will take place on Monday, February 1 @ 5-6:30PM, Tuesday, February 2 @ 8-8:30AM and Wednesday, February 3 @ 8-8:30AM.
REGISTRATION: When selected as a Ideas Fair presentation, the first presenter will be offered a reduced registration rate of $400. All other presenters will be required to register at the going regular rate.
At least one presenter from your coalition is required to be at their posters on Monday, February 1nd from 5-6:30PM during the Coalition Ideas Fair and concurrent Opening Reception. During the Tuesday and Wednesday morning sessions (8-8:30AM), CADCA will split the presentations into two groups. Half will be required to have at least one representative stand at their poster during the Tuesday morning session and the other half during the Wednesday morning session. CADCA will make these assignments and notify the presenters prior to the conference. Presenters have the option of participating in both morning sessions if desired, but only the 1.5 hour session on Monday and one of the half hour morning sessions on Tuesday or Wednesday are required.
INSTRUCTIONS: The following pages include questions regarding your proposed Ideas Fair presentation. Please answer all questions completely, yet succinctly. A selection committee will be formed to review and score the submissions.
Notifications (of acceptance or rejection) will be sent during the week of Oct. 27, 2015.
