Are you a mental health professional who no longer feels at home in the institutions that trained you, or with which you are associated?
Many of us don't. We're asked to keep the clinical separate from the politics, and to stay silent about what is being done to our patients and the worlds they live in.
This is a proposal — an invitation to imagine, and help build, an international professional home for liberatory mental health: a body for clinicians (analysts, therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors) committed to a practice where the clinical and the political are not held apart. A place to think together, to support one another, and to find one another across countries, languages, and disciplines, with the freedom to speak when conscience calls, but with belonging, not speaking, as its reason for being. Though we propose it as Palestinians, this home is not only about Palestine; Liberatory practice is needed wherever people face oppression, displacement, and state violence.
Nothing has been built yet. We are gathering the people who want to shape it — and this form is how we find one another.

If it speaks to you, add your details below. We'll share the date of our first meeting with everyone who writes.
With warmth and respect,
