Who are the Associates?

The associates are a group of local artists, creative practitioners and students who are involved in helping shape the direction of Generator Projects. They participate in exhibition making, events organising/ running and working on creative community projects.This group is open to anyone, at any stage of artistic involvement, with an interest specifically in the operations of an Artist Run Initiative (ARI) like Generator. 

The Associates aim to offer active participants opportunities for learning about exhibition install/ deinstall, building projects/ tools handling training, archiving/ cataloguing our community space library (opening soon) as well as anything you feel Generator could support you with in your professional development as an artist/ creative practitioner.

We invite you to get involved and learn a bit more about how Generator operates, but also want to open up the space for ideas and projects that you want to produce. Generator is here to support emerging and practising artists in Dundee!

Being an Associate means you can:

- Help organise and contribute towards exhibitions/ events programmed.

- Connect with like minded creatives in Dundee (and the wider community)

- Gain hands-on experience in a gallery environment.

- Have the opportunity for paid invigilation/ other work.

- Shape the direction of Generator Projects for the future.
