1. Project Background and Objectives
This summer camp aims to inspire children’s passion for string instrument performance through professional music education and teamwork. By enjoying the atmosphere of master classes, it will enhance their playing skills and cultivate their music appreciation abilities. It also serves as a talent selection for the boutique string orchestra that we will be establishing in September.
2. Event Time and Location
Time: Monday to Friday, for two weeks
Daily rehearsal time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Group A: Violin 5-7 people, Viola 2-3 people, Cello 3-4 people (Room 203)
- Group B: Violin 5-7 people, Viola 2-3 people, Cello 3-4 people (Room 204)

4. Course Arrangement
The daily schedule is divided into three parts:

Basic String Instrument Playing Techniques (0.5 hours)
- Individual guidance and group practice for violin and cello.

Sectional Rehearsals (1 hour)
- Focus on improving playing techniques, including bowing, fingering, etc.

Teamwork and Ensemble Practice (1 hour)
- Through ensemble practice, cultivate teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Regular small-scale performances to enhance stage experience.
5. Enrollment Capacity
Group A and Group B (10 students per group)
6. Technical Requirements
Entry level:
- One year or more of playing experience
- Capable of playing in 3rd position (preferred)
7. Fees and Registration
Fees:
- $399 per week if registered before March 30
- $429 per week if registered after March 30

8. Important Notes
- Students need to bring their own instruments. If an instrument rental is required, please contact the camp organizers in advance.
- Each student must complete the registration procedure before the camp starts and attend all classes on time. There will be no makeup classes for absences.
- During the camp, parents must ensure that students arrive on time and follow the camp’s rules and regulations.
