The market is one of the Valley Food + Farm Collective's three main initiatives which also includes Grounded Food Symposium and a Valley Food Certification (coming in 2019). We're a grassroots community initiative founded on a call to action by local farmers, food processors, and restaurants to establish a more meaningful food culture, and bridging the gap between what is farmed and crafted with the food that is cooked and shared.
REQUIREMENTSAs a Fraser Valley initiative we give preference to vendors whose products are grown, raised and or crafted in the Fraser Valley. However, if you are the producer and your product is grown, raised, or harvested in BC, you are eligible to sell with us.
All vendors selling food (vegetables, fruit, dairy, meat, seafood, alcohol) must follow the Fraser Health's Guideline for the Sale of Foods at Temporary Food Markets. Please familiarize yourself with the information contained within this guide before applying to become a vendor.
INTAKE SCHEDULEWe accept vendors on an on-going basis throughout the season depending on need, however, target intake months are March/April.
