Exciting Education
Parents survey

Exciting Education is an independent company, based in Devon, providing consultancy, training and support for organisations working with children.

Visits by children to visitor attractions are increasing – these can be school trips or family activities. The expectations of the quality, value for money and learning potential by parents and teachers are increasing.

This research is designed to find out whether educational visits and family activities are having a positive or negative impact on visitor attractions in Devon and Cornwall. We term education programme as being specific activity for attracting and engaging with schools to encourage visits and delivering activities for school children visiting as groups. Family activities are special events or product offerings, usually happening in school holidays when the attraction is also open to the general public. For example, outdoor trails, events, displays and entertainers.

The survey can be completed for one child or more but for ease of reference we will refer to a single child in the questions.
