Garfield County Libraries Local Author Book Expo Application

Authors interested in participating must be residents of Garfield County or a contiguous county. Chosen authors will be given 5 minute time slots to speak about their work at 1-3 of their preferred branches (availability permitting), followed by an informal booth meet and greet period with the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the public, as well as sign and sell copies. Garfield County Libraries may choose to purchase or add donated copies of select authors’ work to library collections, but are under no obligation to do so. No compensation will be provided for authors’ time or travel expenses. Applications must be submitted on February 15 to be considered, and the library will notify you by March 15. Expos will be held in April.
