Dillsburg Area Soccer Club offers a limited number of partial and full scholarships each year based on financial need. Priority will be given to those players enrolled in their school district’s free and reduced lunch program. Due to demand and limited club scholarship resources, no one is guaranteed a scholarship from one year to the next. A player’s selection to his/her team will be handled independently of their scholarship request. Scholarships will be reviewed and awarded by a minimum of three individuals, including the President, Director of Player Development, and Treasurer or appropriate Registrar. A player’s lack of participation in scholarship-funded team activities and/or failure to abide by the Code of Conduct rules could result in future scholarship ineligibility.

Scholarships are not awarded in the form of cash. They are awarded in the form of waived DASC registration fees only. In the case that a scholarship player has difficulty participating in tournaments and other team training, the team manager may apply to the club’s board for assistance to meet the player’s portion of team expenses.
