Application for Children's Advisory Board (CAB)
GENERAL INFO: The Children's Advisory Board is made up of a diverse group of local children and youth who are interested in participating in their community and the arts. The purpose of this board is to hear, engage and empower the young voices in our community while fostering creativity and independent thinking.
These children will be an instrumental part of the development of MOD. They will be responsible for offering feedback and guidance regarding the exhibits' design and functionality, programming, and participating in community outreach. Upon the Museum opening, these children will continue to be a valuable asset offering their interests, visions and dreams for MOD along with the continuation of feedback on programming and outreach.
ELIGIBILITY: Youth must be between the ages of 6 - 14. A parent or guardian must give written consent to be considered part of this leadership role. Please include a teacher, counselor, or Principal letter of recommendation.
EXPECTATIONS: As a commitment, we request that you participate for at least 6 months, attend each CAB meeting for your age group, and volunteer at least 8 hours for MOD community outreach events.
