All UA supervisors must complete the Supervisor Foundations training by June 30, 2027, regardless of how long they have been at UA or the type of employee(s) they supervise.
October In-Person Training
UA HR, in collaboration with UAF's Onboarding and Employee Engagement office, is offering an eight-hour, in-person Supervisor Foundations training. The training will be held over two days in four-hour sessions from 8 a.m. to noon on Oct. 28-29, 2026. The training will take place in 501 Akasofu Building on the UAF campus.
Registration for this session includes both days. Participants must attend both four-hour sessions to complete the in-person Supervisor Foundations training requirement.

Supervisor Foundations training can be completed through one of the following formats:
- Online, on-demand training: through LinkedIn Learning
- In‑person training: Spring 2027 dates to be announced
- Live Zoom training: Spring 2027 dates to be announced
