Cast Your Vote to Narrow the Gap!
This June, LIN received 28 applications from grassroots not-for-profit organizations (NPOs), each proposing a project to help marginalized communities overcome barriers to a good education.  A Grant Application Evaluation Committee, consisting of ten volunteers (meet the volunteer reviewers - hyperlink), selected six (6) project proposals that they felt were the most impressive based on need, proposed objectives, viability and desired impact.

NOW WE NEED YOU!  We are asking people who live in and near Ho Chi Minh City to help decide which three out of the five semi-finalists should advance to the final round and event on 23 August.

From 8:00am on 22 July until 5:00pm on 2 August, you can read about the six selected projects and rank them in order of your preference. Your vote will help a panel of experts to decide which three (3) projects will go on to receive a grant from the Narrow the Gap Community Fund, which is a pool of funds from individuals and companies willing to work together to make a positive impact on our community.

You can read about each project on the Narrow The Gap website (www.linnarrowthegap.org).  Thank you for voting!

(Note: Each individual may only vote one time and must provide a brief explanation for their vote along with a working email address in order for their vote to be counted.)

Purchase your ticket to Narrow the Gap Community Event!
We invite you to join us at the Narrow the Gap Community Event on 23 August (Saturday), from 4pm to 8pm. At this activity packed event, you will meet the nonprofits behind the three projects you helped select for funding and learn, first-hand about their amazing work and daily challenges. You will have an opportunity to ask questions about their projects before voting, once again, for your favorite among the three. Votes submitted during the event will decide the amount of money each of the three project finalists will receive.

During the event, you will also hear from education experts and meet many other individuals and companies who care about community issues and want to improve access and quality of education in Ho Chi Minh City.

Last year, LIN's Narrow the Gap Community Event attracted over 300 community members.

We hope that you will join us this year!
