TCSAAL Academic Structure: TCSAAL Academics will be divided into 2 age groupings for academic competitions: 6th-8th Grade and Varsity. TCSAAL will offer the 4th-6th Grade grouping as well for the Chess & Visual Art (Arts Festival) competitions only. For all competitions, students in younger grade levels are able to participate up in age grouping.
Regions Being Offered: North Texas (D/FW), Central Texas (Austin / San Antonio / Corpus Christi / Waco-Temple-Killeen areas), East Texas (Houston/Beaumont Area) South Texas (Texas Valley) and West Texas (El Paso, Midland/Odessa, Amarillo)
Academic, Art, & ESports Activities: Due to the structure of the academic competitions, all schools, regardless of their location around the state, will be able to participate.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
*Each campus pays a bi-annual base fee of $1,500 for their 2-year commitment (2026-2027 & 2027-2028). Academics & athletics are covered under the same commitment umbrella. Base fee will include 2 Coaches Conference ticket per year. This is to ensure each school has representation in the conference. It is important to have representation for taking vital votes and learning rule changes. This will be a $40 savings per attendee from the cost of a coaches conference ticket.
* Bi-Annual Base Fee will go towards funding for Regional Directors, Site Managers, playoff facilities, playoff officials, playoff security, playoff trainers, assigner fees, as well as other league aspects.
