Open Room Change Request Form (Current Term Residents Only)

This form is to be used for CURRENT TERM RESIDENTS ONLY. If you currently live in housing and want to change your assignment, follow the steps below. If you want to change your room request for a future term, please send your change request to housing@armstrong.edu.

Please see the following guidelines:

1. Residents of Windward Commons under 30 credit hours that have not lived a full academic year in the residential facilities, will not be permitted to transfer into the apartment facilities (Compass Point and University Terrace/Crossings).

2. Please note if there is a room change between room types, you will be responsible for the difference in rate.

3. Residence Life staff will be completing occupancy inspections between August 17-21st. Room changes will occur the following week between August 25- 31st (Housing and Residence Life Staff may contact you prior to this time frame if your desired room is available).

Dates and Deadlines:
1.Open Room Change Request form submission deadline: Friday, 8/21/15 @ 5 p.m.
2.Open Room Change Confirmation Email and Assignment Email : Tuesday, 8/25/15
3.Open Room Change Moving Period (You must be willing to move during this period): Tuesday, 8/25/15 @ 9 a.m. to Monday, 8/31/15 @ 5 p.m.

    By submitting this form, I fully understand and agree to the following:

    * Housing and Residence Life will honor requests on a first come first basis, as space permits. * I may be required to take a room in "AS IS" condition if I wish to transfer to a specific location or room assignment. * I will not move until I receive notification that this request has been approved and I understand that, if i do move without approval, then I will be charged a $250 improper room change fee and will be required to move back to my originally assigned unit. * If I am granted a room change, I understand that I will be required to move between Tuesday, 8/25/15 @ 9 am to Monday, 8/31/15 @ 5 pm. * I may withdraw this request at any time before moving. If I wish to do so, I must contact the Area Coordinator for the designated residential facilities. * You will be contacted by the appropriate Area Coordinator once room change assignments have been finalized.
