Dear Bells Mill Parents,

Your involvement is a crucial element in the success of the Bells Mill community! We welcome volunteers for any and all of the PTA committees, events and activities listed below. Please choose as many as you would like. Checking the box indicates a possible interest in volunteering - it does not commit you to anything. Your contact info will be forwarded to the chairperson of the committee/s you are volunteering to serve on.

After-School Activities – Help coordinate a wide variety of after-school clubs and classes for students

Allergy Awareness– Provide education/ information regarding food allergies within the school community

Back to School Picnic– Volunteer at our annual welcome-back event

Bake Sales– Help coordinate bake sale fundraisers at PTA events

Bells Mill Bash– Help coordinate, or volunteer at, the year-end Carnival

Black History Program–Volunteer at this annual celebration

BookDrive and Exchange– Volunteer to help with the collection and exchange of books to/from students

Book Fairs– Volunteer at our annual Fall book sale event

Club Bells Mill– Volunteer at four Saturday evening social events for students

Copy Committee– Help make copies and distribute flyers for important PTA events and activities

Directory– Help compile and distribute the BMES Student Directory

Family Bingo Night– Volunteer at our annual evening of bingo, friends and fun

Fifth Grade promotion– Help coordinate the end-of-year activities for our fabulous 5th graders

Geography Bowl– Help coordinate our event of friendly competition and learning

Ice Skating Night– Volunteer at our annual ice skating night at Cabin John Ice Rink

International Night– Volunteer at this event celebrating our diversity with food and cultural programs

Movie Night– Volunteer at our movie night and concurrent parent social

Photographer– Help to capture PTA events in photos, for use in yearbook and display on PTA bulletin board

Playground/Popsicle Social– Volunteer at the back-to-school welcome event

Recess– ***We need as many volunteers as possible to supervise/coordinate/assist with recess activities***

Safety – Help to act as liaison between the parents, PTA and school for security/safety concerns

Science Fair– Volunteer at our school-wide evening Science Fair

School Kits– Help arrange, take orders for, and distribute back-to-school supply kits

Sock Hop– Volunteer at our evening school dance

Spirit Wear– Help coordinate sale of Bells Mill T-shirts and other clothing and items

Staff Appreciation Week– Volunteer to help with staff recognition and appreciation efforts for staff

Staff Holiday Lunch– Volunteer (provide food or help) for the annual holiday luncheon for the staff

Talent Show– Help coordinate our school-wide talent show

Teacher Back-to-School Breakfasts– Volunteer (provide food or help) for three breakfasts for teachers in August

Walk for the Homeless– Help coordinate our annual fundraiser for the Stepping Stones Homeless Shelter
