Talent Grant/Individual Lesson Award Application Winter 2020
Use this application to apply for an Ensemble Talent Grant and/or an Individual Lesson Award. You may apply for both.

Eligibility:

Ensemble Talent Grant (pays up to 12 college credits, audition required):
Any full-time LCC student who is currently registered for at least one ensemble class with credit. Preference may be given to students enrolled in multiple ensembles and/or are making a significant contribution to our program.

Individual Lesson Award (pays up to $400 to be applied to lesson fee, audition required):
Music Major** who are taking private lessons as part of their full-time class schedule.

**Students who are currently enrolled in ALL the following classes are considered to be Music Majors:
Music Theory, Sight-Reading/Ear-Training, Keyboard Skills, Individual Lessons, and Large Ensemble(s).

Application Deadline:
Friday, February 28 2020 at 3pm

Audition Date for Talent Grant, Lesson Award or Both:
Date: Monday, March 16, 2020 (Time TBA)

Audition repertoire: Solo excerpt/complete piece of 3-6 minutes duration, appropriate attire expected

An accompanist will be provided, but we will not provide rehearsals with an accompanist for this audition. Please submit your accompaniment part ASAP to Hisao Watanabe if you are playing different repertoire from your jury.
