All CUSD students are required to obtain a Bicycle Permit Sticker if they are planning on riding a Bicycle to school and parking it on campus. The safety of our students remains a top priority, and our Bicycle Permit process helps to ensure all students are equipped to ride safely. There is no cost for the Bicycle Permit, however these permits are only valid for the school year during which they were issued. Therefore, students must complete an online application and participate in a CUSD approved Bike/eBike Safety Course and/or Presentation prior to riding a Bicycle to and from school, and to and from a school sponsored event.

Attend a CUSD approved Bike/eBike Safety Course and/or Presentation.
Complete this online bicycle permit application with your parent and/or guardian. This step is required.

Bicycle Permit Stickers and renewals will be issued through the student's school Front Office. These stickers should be placed on a visible area on their Bicycle and not be removed. If the Bicycle Permit Sticker is ever lost or stolen, please report this information to the school Front Office immediately, and a replacement sticker will be issued. If multiple replacement stickers are requested, a fee may be charged.

I understand that there is no cost for the initial Bicycle Permit Sticker. If multiple permit replacements are requested in the same school year, a fee may be charged.

I understand that a Bicycle Permit Sticker is required in order to bring a Bicycle onto school grounds, and if I bring a Bicycle onto school grounds without having successfully completed the required Bicycle Permit process, this may result in the loss of the privilege of bringing my Bicycle onto school grounds.

I understand that using another student's Bicycle Permit Sticker may result in the loss of the privilege of bringing my Bicycle onto school grounds.

I understand that if my Bicycle Permit Sticker is lost or stolen I am responsible for reporting it to my school's Front Office.

I will walk my Bicycle at all times while on school grounds, unless permission is granted by my school to ride in the parking lot when deemed safe by a school official.

I understand that I am strongly encouraged to lock my own Bicycle up in the designated Bicycle parking area(s) on campus, and that the school is not responsible for Bicycles that are lost, stolen or damaged.

I understand that once a Bicycle is left in the designated parking area on campus each morning, the Bicycle is not allowed to be accessed and/or removed by myself until the end of my school day.

I understand if I transfer to another CUSD school during the school year then my Bicycle permit transfers with me.
