Regional Investment Strategy Community Survey 2017
This survey is to seek community input on the success of natural resource management (NRM) investment on Cape York in the past four years, and to capture community views on needs and priorities for NRM investment in the next four years.

The Regional Investment Strategy 2013-2018 contains the priorities for investment as identified through consultation with the people and communities of Cape York. Cape York NRM is reviewing the strategy and invite community input into the investment strategy for 2018-2022. The strategy will become a prospectus for obtaining funding from the Australian Government the Queensland Government, and from private investors.

The current investment by the Australian Government for natural resource management on Cape York through the National Landcare Program started in 2014/15 and concludes at the end of the 2017/18 financial year. The Australian Government has committed to a second phase of investment in natural resource management, sustainable land management and environmental protection starting in 2018. The investment will help Landcare, Indigenous and community groups continue their valuable work of delivering biodiversity and sustainable agriculture outcomes that benefit our communities and the environment.
