Survey study for European
Primary Care clinicians and Renal Nurses and Nephrologists.
We appreciate your opinion about Information and Communication
Technology (ICT) on CKD management, particularly Renal Replacement Therapy
(RRT).
This survey about is ICT intervention in Renal Care and aimed to
investigate the concerns and burdens of Nephrology health care professionals
(Nurses, Nephrologists, Pharmacist and Nutritionists) and primary care
clinicians to find the best way to manage the care for kidney disease patients.
You are strongly invited to participate in this survey if you are
involved in any kind of assistance for potential and/ or effective kidney's
patients.
This survey takes around 10-15 minutes to be completed. It is part of a
research project of Departmento de Tecnología Fotónica y Bioengeniería –ETSIT
supported by the Unversidad Politécnica de Madrid.
One of the goals is to find out how Information and Communication
Technology can impact the management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and Renal
Replacement Therapy (RRT) management in the European Union with special
emphasis for the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain).
Ethic Committee: USAGE AND DATA STORAGE
Personal information collected in this study are gender, group of
age, profession, professional Role, years of experience, and country. We will
be using information from you to undertake this study and will act as the data
controller for this study. This means that we are responsible for looking after
all information provided and using it properly.
In case of personal or sensitive data, the Information will be held
securely with strict arrangements about who can access the information. We will
store the data safely in a file which will be accessible to the researchers in
the project only. The data must be kept for 15 years at the research location
for reasons of research integrity. The collection use and storage of data is
required to answer the research questions and to publish the results. The data
will only be used for the purpose of research and will not be transferred to
any other party outside this project.
This survey was submitted to the assessment of the ethics committee.
