I own none of these. (The Outing Club may be able to provide a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and backpack, but we don't have any hiking shoes or extra clothes)

I understand that due to the rules of UW Madison Fleet Vehicle usage, a certain number of trip participants must be certified to drive UW Madison Fleet Vehicles for a safe trip. Knowing this, I understand that participant sign up priority will be given to those who are fleet certified.

The order of signup priority will be given to: 1. those who are certified to drive UW-Madison Fleet Vehicles, 2. those who have not been on a Hoofers BP4 trip before, and 3. those who have paid the trip deposit in full, in that order. Trip deposit payment will start to be accepted Wednesday 2/20 at 7:00 pm

Can you pay the trip deposit of $270
The Trip Deposit is non-refundable unless another HOC member from the waitlist or elsewhere takes your spot. If no such person can be found, a partial refund will be given of left over trip funds at the end of the trip.

Expectations of Good Expedition Behavior
A big trip like this is a huge privilege to go on and we're super excited! However, it is expected that each group member contributes to the work associated with a trip like this. This would include help doing the dishes, packing the gear/cars, helping with cooking, picking up garbage, being an active participant in group decisions etc. What's also important is having a good attitude and being flexible. For example, if a hike gets long or a car ride gets long or if weather doesn't co-operate with us or if something goes wrong, etc...... a good attitude and those positive vibes will make the trip more enjoyable for both you and the people you are with.
