A Close Study of the Gospel of Mark

Sundays after worship, January 26-May 18, 11:00am-12:30pm in the Wesley Room, lunch included

Join us to encounter Jesus through a dynamic study of the Gospel of Mark. We'll be doing a manuscript study to engage with Scripture by removing chapter and verse divisions, allowing us to read the text as a cohesive story. This approach fosters close observation of word choices, themes, and structure, helping us discover fresh insights about Jesus—what he is like, how he engages with people, and how they respond to him. Through discussion and reflection, participants are invited to encounter the living Jesus, consider their own response to him, and deepen their understanding of what it means to follow him.
