TXST Faculty Participation: Southwest Regional LA Workshop

We are excited to be hosting the first Southwest Regional Learning Assistant Workshop here at Texas State University. All workshop sessions will be held on the third floor of RFM. In addition to our local Physics LA program faculty, we have two University of Colorado faculty (from Chemistry and Science Education) flying in to co-lead workshop sessions and share their expertise.

Texas State University faculty can attend this workshop free of charge. Instead of registering (and paying) for the workshop, we are asking TXST faculty to complete this form so that we have an accurate estimate of participant numbers. Please let us know the extent to which you plan to participate in the upcoming workshop.

Saturday, April 5: Lunch and Workshop Sessions

Please join us for lunch at 12:30. We will organize tables so that discipline-specific discussions can take place. LAs will be joining as well. We will be holding workshop sessions all day on Saturday, beginning at 9:00 am. Let us know which of these sessions you would like to attend, so that we can choose the right size space and have the right quantity of coffee. If you would like to attend the early sessions, you are welcome to join us for breakfast as well.
