2017 Advocacy Days
Dear Advocates,

Welcome to the 2017 Advocacy Days in Olympia. We are excited to have you join us.

Advocacy Days are designed to help you connect with your elected leaders and influence legislation to improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families. Each “advocacy Wednesday” in Olympia starts at 10 am in with a legislative briefing. Some of the days also have additional events scheduled. If you ride our shuttles, your day in Olympia ends at 3 pm.

Whether you ride a shuttle with The Arc of King County or drive on your own, please sign up first and check in with us once there so we can update you on bills and help you find your way around campus. We’re also happy to help set up meetings with your legislators or their staff.

Advocacy Days start February 1 and run weekly through April 4. The morning legislative briefings are held at The United Churches of Olympia, 110 11th Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501 (across the street from the Capitol).
