1. Have you ever noticed that you see ads online that match some of your recent searches or website visits?
2. Do you personally mind the idea of marketers tracking what you're looking to buy?
3. How do you feel about non-marketing uses of this data? For example, suppose a company compiled data about what you search for in Google or Bing. Imagine that you apply for financial aid for college, and the college wants to know if you've ever searched using words like "financial fraud" or "cheating financial aid." To find this out, the College "buys" your information from the company who compiled data on your searches. Would that kind of use bother you?
