Language services may include translation of written communication or interpretation of spoken or signed communication.
While CDPHE makes every effort to provide interpretation and translation services when requested, it is not always possible to do so. Each request made will undergo an individualized assessment using the Department of Justice's four factor analysis to determine whether or not language services are required to provide meaningful access to a program or service. Communication determined to be vital will be prioritized for translation and interpretation.
If it is determined that language services will not be provided, CDPHE will work with individuals to determine whether another resource or reasonable accommodation can be provided to support access to our programs.
