School Year 2015-2016 - Walk and Bike Activities

Please fill out the form below to share about your 2015-2016 Walk and Bike to Activities with the Maine Safe Routes to School Program – these are any that occur between September 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016.

This will enable you to get Walk and Bike to School event materials, enter your school to win some fun safety gear to raffle off to participating students, and assist Maine to track the work and success of the Safe Routes to School Program.

For Be a Safe Walker and/or Be a Safe Bike Driver handouts, please download them from our website here: http://www.maine.gov/mdot/bikeped/saferoutes/publications/

And please request Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Education Presentations online here: http://request.mainebpse.org/

Thanks so much for your efforts to make your local community a place where students can learn bike-pedestrian safety skills and experience walking and biking for transportation. It not only improves health and safety but also helps improve academic performance and classroom behavior!
