The theme this year is 'Identity & Justice', following a curriculum that explores the history of race in our country and the campers' own racial roots. Campers will be put together in groups of approximately 6 children, with (at least) one Senior Counselor (entering 10th-12th grade, or just graduated from high school this year) and (at least) one Counselor in Training (entering 7th-9th grade) for each group. Your role will be to sit with your group for the opening and closing worships and activities and to shepherd them between the morning and afternoon rotation sessions. It will be your responsibility to create a sense of connection within your group and to ensure that your campers are safe and having fun. We are committed to an enjoyable, respectful, safe, and creative camp for everyone involved!
Counselor and CIT applications are due April 30. Contact Adriana Ross-Castro at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
