You know your body best.
FitSteps is a dance-based fitness class involving upbeat routines, repeated patterns, and movements performed to music.
It is your responsibility to listen to your body, pace yourself, and modify movements in a way that feels appropriate for your personal health circumstances and any advice you have previously been given by a medical or allied-health professional.
We know that keeping active is beneficial, even when working with injuries or health conditions, but how you participate must always be guided by your own comfort levels, awareness, and judgement.
It is also your responsibility to seek medical advice whenever you feel it is needed, and to follow any guidance you have been given regarding safe exercise.
Your decision to take part in FitSteps, to follow any movement, or to adjust or pause at any time, is entirely your own. This is important not only for safety, but because research consistently shows that people who take an active role in their exercise choices build confidence, improve outcomes, and maintain long-term wellbeing more effectively.
