Volunteer Roles
Each Saturday, our incredible team of community volunteers come together to package orders and deliver food county-wide to the doorsteps of our shoppers.
Packers:
This is a LOW CONTACT volunteer opportunity! The shift begins at 8:15am and ends at 12:30pm.
Packers arrive at our distribution site each Saturday morning. Masks and gloves are provided. Our packing team works together (at a social distance) to check in food from the farmers, pack orders and load completed orders into the vehicles of our delivery drivers.
Delivery Drivers:
This is a NO CONTACT volunteer opportunity! The shift begins between 11:30am and noon and ends when all deliveries have been made (approximately 1-2 hours).
Delivery drivers arrive at our distribution site each Saturday. Masks and gloves are provided if needed. Drivers remain in their vehicles while our packing team loads the orders for delivery. Drivers are given a delivery route sheet to follow along as they make their deliveries, and the orders are left at the shoppers' doorsteps.
*Please note that these times may shift slightly as we both streamline our systems and expand our capacity.
