Thank you for your interest in sharing your child's birthday party with the ARLGP! First, please read below to ensure that an educational birthday party experience is what you and your birthday kiddo are looking for!
Our parties are led by our Humane Education (H.E.) team. This means that this experience is not like any other! Our Humane Ed team serves both our shelter animals and our youth community by providing a variety of unique learning opportunities that support the bond between humans and companion animals by nurturing knowledge, compassion, and respect of all living things, all whilst having fun!
There will be an opportunity for structured interactions with select shelter animals led by one of our H.E. staff. However, please keep in mind that we are a shelter and adoptions are happening daily as this is always the priority. Therefore, we cannot control the number or kind of animals that your party can meet on any given day. We do not always have animals that are adjusted to meeting large groups of people and we must make decisions that are in the best interest of our animals and ensure your party's safety.
