The H.O.P.E. Food Bank of LaSalle is looking for volunteers to help with their 15th Annual Food Drive.
September 5: Flyer Distribution in LaSalle
September 12: Annual Food Drive
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided for volunteers on both days.

If you are volunteering on September 5, please select the role you prefer:

DRIVER: (Arrive at 8:00, shift at 8:30 – 13:00): Requires a car. Working with a team to distribute flyers on an assigned route. Drivers may also help distribute flyers on foot.

TEAM MEMBER, assigned to a driver: (Arrive at 8:00, shift at 8:30 – 13:00): Requires walking, climbing stairs, distributing flyers on an assigned route.

If you are volunteering on September 12, please select the role(s) and times you prefer:

DRIVER (Arrive at 8:00, shift at 8:30 – 13:00): Requires a car. Working with a team to collect donations on an assigned route. Drivers may also help collect donations.

TEAM MEMBER, assigned to a Driver (Arrive at 8:00, shift at 8:30 – 13:00): Requires walking, climbing stairs, lifting donations (varying weights), communicating (sometimes) with residents.

SET-UP CREW (8:00 – 9:00): Help set up the site (tables, chairs, etc.). Requires lifting and moving.

SORTER (10:00 – 12:30): Help get donations from vehicles to sorting tables, sorting donations into categories, etc. Requires working while standing.

SORTER (12:00 – 14:30): Help get donations from vehicles to sorting tables, sorting donations into categories, etc. Requires working while standing.

TABLE TEAM MEMBER (10:00 – 12:30): Help sort donations, check expiration dates, pack boxes. Requires some standing while working.

TABLE TEAM MEMBER (12:00 – 14:30): Help sort donations, check expiration dates, pack boxes. Requires some standing while working.

MOVER (12:00 – 15:00): Move the packed boxes into the Food Bank storage area. Requires lifting and moving boxes.

CLEAN-UP CREW (14:30 – 15:30): Help tear down site (tables, chairs, etc.). Requires lifting and moving.
