2025  UMD Golf Course BioBlitz Registration
Register here to participate in the University of MD Golf Course's species-counting competition. We will be competing against other golf courses from across the world.  Our goal is to count as many different species of plants and animals living on the golf course as possible, in the time allowed.  

When and Where:
 Saturday, May 3rd at 6:30 am 
 UMD golf course located at :3800 Golf Course Road, College Park, MD, 20742.

What you need to know:
* Wear appropriate clothing to be outdoors and walk the golf course. 
* You will be working with others to locate and identify species using the  iNaturalist APP  
* Please download the iNaturalist APP, create an account and play with it a bit.
* Once you have an iNaturalist account you will need to  join our 2025 BioBlitz project .  You will need to do this prior to starting your observations on May 3rd. You can do that now if you have an account.  If not we will email this link to you a few days prior to May 3rd.
* Friends and family are welcome but ALL participants MUST register in ADVANCE!
* Wildlife photographers are welcome (photos can be uploaded to the iNaturalist APP).
*  This is intended to be fun and educational outdoor event.
