Adoption Application 2015
PLEASE READ BEFORE FILLING OUT FORM:

Thank you for considering adoption through Animals, People and Environment Action. We are a non-profit organization run solely on the donations of caring citizens and volunteers and without them we cannot do the work we do to save and rehabilitate animals.  We are looking for adoptive families that are committed in making a difference and a lifetime commitment financially and morally to a pet.  All of our rescued pets are seen by our vets, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, de-flead, micro-chipped, and groomed upon adoption.

OUR RESCUE PROCESS:

After we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet.

Your application will be reviewed by our adoption board and upon approval, a private appointment will be made for you to meet the pet of interest and go over all and any questions or an appointment will be set up at one of our adoption events.

Upon agreement to adopt, we will meet you at your home for a home check with pet.

The final step (after meet and greet, house check, application) is a donation and contract.

We suggest a minimum donation of $300. Please understand donations are not a purchase price but an adoption fee  contribution freely given. (Donations are not refundable)

Are you willing to help us save the next dog?

The ability to make a $300- donation is not the only consideration when evaluating an application; it is clearly a very important part of our decision. The inability to make a substantial donation raises a warning flag: can the new adoptee truly afford to care for a pet?

We strongly feel that if you can’t afford a $300 donation, then perhaps you should re-examine your decision to adopt, and consider being a "FOSTER PARENT"  to an animal in need instead.  Vets bills can be costly and we need the assurance that our pets will be in a home where emergency medical care can be given at any time.

PLEASE NOTE:  This application is long and potentially tedious for many people.

Please understand that most of us in rescue volunteer and donate not only time, energy, home & finances, but are also emotionally vested in the animals.

This application invites you to be 100% sure you are ready for this amazing relationship.:)

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY QUESTIONS BLANK. LEAVING A QUESTION BLANK WILL RESULT IN YOUR APPLICATION NOT BEING APPROVED!!!
