The CORE Business Challenge case competition is an exciting opportunity for undergraduate Business majors and minors to apply strategic thinking and teamwork to real-world business problems. Sponsored by Woodward Inc., New Belgium Brewing Company, and SAGE Publishing, this competition challenges students to think critically and compete for the top spot.
We can host 10 teams of 4 students (40 total). Sign up early—spaces are limited. Individuals without a team may be placed on one, but placement is not guaranteed. Graduate students should consult their advisors for other opportunities.
CORE Principles:
- Culture – Foster environments that encourage collaboration and innovation.
- Opportunity – Ensure fair access for all students to compete, apply knowledge, and challenge themselves at the highest level.
- Responsibility – Make informed decisions with integrity and accountability.
- Excellence – Strive for the highest standards in leadership, problem-solving, and communication.
Apply now to put your skills to the test!
Note: If one team member withdraws, any ideas they contributed
remain with the team. The CORE Advisory Board will then assess the team's
continued participation on a case-by-case basis. If more than one team member
withdraws and cannot be replaced by March 31st, the team will be
eliminated from the competition. No team member substitutions are allowed after
March 31st.
