Welcome to TA Orientation Registration!

All USC graduate students who will be newly appointed Graduate Teaching or Instructional Assistants (GTA/IAs) during the 2015 - 2016 academic year are required to attend TA Orientation Workshops A & B prior to teaching their first semester. TA Orientation is an important part of the University's Graduate TA Training Program that will help to ensure your success as a TA at USC.

PLEASE NOTE regarding your TA Orientation registration:

Upon form submission, you should receive an email confirming receipt of your TA Orientation registration. First choices for registration dates will be honored unless room capacity has been reached. A "List of Confirmed Dates for Registered Participants" will be posted on the TA Orientation website beginning in early summer, and more information regarding TA Orientations will be provided as the dates draw near. If you have any problems or questions, please contact Dr. Michelle Hardee, TA Training Program Manager, at the Center for Teaching Excellence, hardeem@mailbox.sc.edu.

    DON'T FORGET!

All new TAs must also register for either GRAD 701 or an equivalent departmental teaching course. Contact your Graduate Coordinator or Graduate Director if you are not sure for which course you should register. More information is provided here: http://sc.edu/cte/Grad701.php. Be sure to mark your calendar for TA Orientation! Reminder emails will be sent out as the Orientation dates approach. We look forward to meeting you!
