In light of multiple recent closures of labor and delivery units across Maine, the MAFP has been taking steps with other stakeholders to address the growing problem of access to prenatal and obstetric care, particularly in rural areas. Our goal is to assess and support existing services, and hopefully to avoid further closures throughout the state. We are seeking input from our members and appreciate your thoughtful responses to a short survey.
