The Green Fashion Show is calling for submissions of fashion pieces that have been created using sustainable materials, outfits that are created through up-cycling or more - your limit is only your imagination!

Get ready for a fun fashionable event on April 24th, 2015 at the Long Theatre.

Deadline: April 21, 2015 to submit your interactive form below to have your piece(s) in the show.

What does it mean to be sustainable?

For a piece to be sustainable, practices for the creation, use and disposal of said piece should be done in such a way that can be continued for generations to come. There are three components of sustainability: Financial, Environmental, and Social. Financial sustainability requires money to be spent in a responsible manner. Environmental sustainability involves being conscious of the impact upon our natural resources. Social responsibility looks at the conditions of the human labor required to make and recycle the materials being used. Often times, one product will satisfy multiple aspects of sustainability.
