2016 May Term Student Senate Senator Application

May term Senators are responsible for attending approximately three (3) meetings during May term to discuss Outfly, plans for Senate in the 2016-2017 academic year, and other issues of interest. Times for these meetings will be decided after the elections have been held. There are eight (8) seats available. This application is due at 8 PM on Tuesday, March 29th.

There will be a mandatory elections meeting at 9 PM on Tuesday, March 29th. This meeting will provide you with all of the information you will need during the campaign. Elections will take place on Tuesday, April 5th via email.

As a May term Senator, your term carries over through the 2016-2017 academic year. While it is not required that you serve as a Senator during the coming year, most May term Senators take advantage of this option.

    An elections meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at 9 PM in the Hub Conference Room. Attendance is required to verify the candidates running and to discuss election rules and procedures. If you cannot make it, please email senate@wartburg.edu so that we can give you any information that you missed. Campaigning may NOT begin until after the election meeting.
