2027 APQC Board Applications
Thank you for expressing interest in APQC! 

We thank you for your interest in helping us advocate for, educate on the behalf of, and celebrate the queer community! 

Please note that board membership requires participation in:
  • ONE monthly full board meeting (every 2nd Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm)
  • ONE monthly committee meeting (day/time TBD by committee collaboration, often ~1hr)
  • ONE weekend, team-building retreat in January (date TBD - will be announced before December)
Additional time commitments may be required for tabling events, ad hoc committee assignments, special event set-up/supervision, volunteer coordination, and/or meeting preparation. 3 excused absences allowed, but video attendance is also provided when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
  • Resident of the state of Georgia, preferably the greater Athens area
  • Checking board email/Whatsapp regularly (minimum of once weekly) to stay informed
  • Responding to calendar invites for meetings
  • Completion/communication of assigned tasks outside of meetings
  • Making some form of financial commitment to the organization - this does not have to be a monthly or large donation
