The Choral & Voice Areas of Mississippi State University's Department of Music are pleased to present the 5th annual Mississippi Voice Symposium & Institute (MVSI). This institute is designed to offer a variety of workshop courses, recitals, and voice master classes aimed towards developing, enhancing, and educating all levels of singers from beginning to advanced. MVSI is committed to providing the very best experience by the most-respected instructors in the areas of vocal science, vocal pedagogy, vocal literature, and vocal performance in the U.S.A. and abroad.

Master Class with Indra Thomas: Are you interested in performing? *
In order to be considered for the master class, you are required to submit electronically to Dr. Jeanette Fontaine: a legible PDF of the music you wish to perform for the master class. You will be notified if you are selected to perform. If selected, your song or aria must be memorized and performance ready. A collaborative pianist will be provided. The PDF of your music should be emailed to jfontaine@colled.msstate.edu and must be received by Friday, January 3, 2020.

Recital: Are you interested in performing? *
In order to be considered for the recital, you must submit electronically to Dr. Jeanette Fontaine: 1) an example of your singing performance via YouTube link and 2) a legible PDF of the music you wish to perform for the recital. You will be notified if you are selected to perform. If selected, your song or aria must be memorized and performance ready. A collaborative pianist will be provided. The YouTube link and PDF of your music should be emailed to jfontaine@colled.msstate.edu and must be received by Friday, January 3, 2020.
