2014 Space Explorers Camp

James Madison University’s Outreach and Engagement and the Department of Physics and Astronomy are excited to announce two week-long summer space explorer camps open to all middle-school age students! The camp will be led by Shanil Virani, the director of the John C. Wells Planetarium.

The first is a week-long residential space explorer camp where campers will spend the week at JMU July 6–13, 2014. The residential camp will be for rising 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th graders.
The second is our day space explorer camp that will be held July 21–25, 2014, for rising 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders.

    Payment and confirmation

    We expect registration to fill up quickly. Payment is due 2-weeks prior to the start date of the camp. If payment is not received by (residential June 23) (day July 7) the slot will be given to another camper.
