Weston Friendly Society of the Performing Arts - Call for production team for 2026-2027 season
The Weston Friendly Society, the second oldest community theatre in the United States, is seeking production team members for its 2026-2027 season: Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella (Broadway Version) and 9 to 5.

The performance dates for Cinderella are Dec. 5-12, 2026, at the Weston Town Hall, with rehearsals planned to begin on Sept. 27. Rehearsals are generally Sundays from noon to 5, Tuesdays from 7-10 and Thursdays from 7-10 at the Weston Town Hall.

The performance dates for 9 to 5 are April 10-17, 2027, at the Weston Town Hall, with rehearsals planned to begin on Feb. 7. Rehearsals are generally Sundays from noon to 5, Tuesdays from 7-10 and Thursdays from 7-10 at the Weston Town Hall.

Please indicate your interest in either or both productions by filling out the form below by EOD Tuesday, April 7, 2026. 

Music director applicants, note that we are seeking candidates who can accompany rehearsals and play the piano in the orchestra. Music directors will need to secure the rest of the pit.

Directors, music directors, choreographers, stage managers, set designers, costume designers, hair/makeup designers, lighting designers and sound designers receive a small stipend.
