WRSD In-District Transfer Request Form
The "In-District Transfer Program" allows families residing in any of the five towns in the Wachusett Regional School District, Holden {including Jefferson, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, and Sterling the option of attending another school within the District. Class size will not exceed the maximums as established by the Wachusett Regional School District Committee and will determine acceptance for In-District Transfer.

When considering the option of an In-District Transfer, families need to consider that transportation is not guaranteed. A request for transportation from an established bus stop for the school may be made in writing and submitted to the Director of Student Support once notification of acceptance has been received. Approval by the Director for transportation is dependent upon seat availability for the requested bus. Seat availability may not be known until after the start of the school year and the number of open seats can be confirmed.

Final approval of all in-district transfer and transportation requests rests with the Superintendent of Schools.
