WVPEC Job Fair 2026, Snow Day RESCHEDULED (again, again..) February 14th!!! 

Registration is FREE and required for this event.  Sign up now for the February 14th, 2026, WVPEC Teacher Recruitment Job Fair. 

Location: Salem Civic Center
                 1001 Boulevard, Salem, VA

Time: 9 am. to 12 pm.

Backup snow day now scheduled: February 14th, same time and location.  Please make note of the change.

This event is for licensed teachers, nurses, administrators etc. and those who will be licensed before the 2026-2027 school year begins.  As well as individuals that are interested in finding information about becoming licensed.  19 public school divisions will be on hand for questions and interviews.  Some schools are offering same day hiring contracts. Please remember to bring copies of your resume!  We have over 500 vacancies to fill!

Registration closes February 13th, 2026.   If you see this after Feb. 6th, come register at the Job Fair.
Your registration information will only be shared with WVPEC consortium school divisions.
 
CHECK-IN upon your arrival at the Salem Civic Center. Please head to community rooms on the left-hand side of the Salem Civic Center.  We will have WVPEC signs up and a registration table in the lobby just outside of the job fair room. 

 ***If you do not check in, your information will be purged from the system and will not be passed along to WVPEC consortium school division's HR departments.  HR only receives the contact information for those who have followed through with both registration and attendance.
