Paws4Christ Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit small animal welfare organization registered with the IRS under EIN#92-2588652.

Our passion is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in crisis from cruelty, abandonment and neglect.

Paws4Christ Animal Rescue operates mostly through adoption donation fees, fundraising and public donations. When we have an adoption those funds are immediately used for food, supplies and medical bills for our rescues.

All of our rescues are cared for in house or by an approved applicant only within a foster home.

Our goal is to provide complete medical care including; Emergencies, Exams, Microchipping , Deworming, Vaccinations, Rabies, Heartworm Testing/Treatment, placed on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, with spaying or neutering prior to their adoption. Any pet not of age or weight to fully receive these services will need to sign an additional spay/neuter agreement upon adoption. Well pets adopted out that we have fully vetted costs us out of pocket roughly $350-$400 and for pets not well that we have fully vetted and treated medically cost us $350-$5000 out of pocket. It doesn’t make sense that we require very little on the adoption fees but the reasoning behind that is we care more about them finding the right family that will last a lifetime, than the money spent to save and vet them. We always appreciate extra donation with adoptions. Everytime we have an adoption, it opens a door to assist with another doggie or cat in need.

This application is primarily designed to assist Paws4Christ Animal Rescue with gathering information so we can determine if a specific cat or dog is fit for your family so we have safe, happy and successful adoptions.

All adopting parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. Paws4Christ Animal Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption based on answers to this questionnaire or interviews and discussions prior to an adoption.

We appreciate your interest in our precious rescues. Please fill out this application completely in order for our team to review in a timely manner. If questions are left incomplete, it goes into pending status and could potentially cause a missed opportunity for the pet you’re interested in.

We understand some of the questions seem intrusive and are only asked for the best interest of you and the pet. If your application is approved, we REQUIRE a video of secure fenced yard and a picture of the home that matches the address on this application, also it helps to send that information to the email or phone number listed at the bottom of this form to expedite the process. If we approve this step we then schedule a time to meet at your residence or a place and time convenient for both parties. We would do all signing and require payment at this time.

Out of state/town Adopting families approved requires a video of home and secured yard. Adopting families are fully responsible for transportation costs. We have trusted transport companies we are partnered with that we can help schedule safe travels for the pet to you.

Any adoptions out of a 60 mile radius of our hometown in Victoria, Texas; we do ask for a fuel donation to assist with our volunteer costs or we may not be able to provide transportation. We would consider meeting here locally or halfway if your application, Veterinary reference and fence/home videos are approved.

Before filling out this application please understand when you are considering adopting a puppy that it takes time for them to learn the new environment, set boundaries for potty training with positive reinforcement, patience and persistence to be successful. Please look up 3-3-3 Rule when bringing any pet into your home.

If you agree to all of the following and everyone in the home is in agreement and you are committed completely, please submit your application with us. We ask that you are truthful in your responses as this process is  time consuming and we take each pets life very seriously when placing them in their furever home.

By signing my full name, I agree that there is a seven day trial period for every adoption starting after the day of adoption agreement signing that we place a hold in order to insure that everything is as it has been written before transferring primary ownership and microchip ownership into the adoption guardians name. If we find that false information has been given or provided we can reclaim complete ownership and rights by coming to your residence, on your property to retrieve the pet into our custody without question? *
