Hawken School is seeking energetic and dedicated Junior Counselors (ages 15-20) for its Summer Day Camp program at the Lyndhurst and Gates Mills campuses. Our highly successful day camp offers a wide range of fun, educational activities for campers aged 4–13 (grades PK–8). Junior Counselors play an essential role in assisting Senior Counselors with ensuring that campers receive top-quality instruction and support, while fostering an atmosphere of safety, respect, and fun.
As a Junior Summer Camp Counselor, you will work closely with Senior Counselors to support campers in a variety of activities. You will assist in leading activities, ensure campers are engaged and safe, and serve as an integral part of the camp team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain leadership experience and work with children in a fun, hands-on environment.
This is a full-time, seasonal position operating Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM during the six-week camp season (June 15 – July 24). A mandatory, paid orientation will be held on June 13 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
