MSNO is excited to announce a new annual award for school nurses who have been in school nursing practice for less than 5 years and have shown professionalism, passion for the specialty, growth in their practice and impact on their students. Anyone can nominate a Rising Star by completing this submission form. One Rising Star will be chosen from EACH of the 10 MSNO Regions.

Criteria for submission, the school nurse:

1. Must be a practicing school nurse for 5 years or less

2. Submissions by February 3, 2026
