The Radiant Rays of the Center for Energy Education (C4EE) will be hosting the Climate Awareness Festival.

Date & Time: Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: 460 Airport Road, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina 27870 

Theme: Living Green, Living Clean

The Climate Awareness Festival will highlight and promote examples of environmental awareness through youth empowerment and hands-on activities. C4EE staff and energy partners will educate participants about strategies that help reduce our carbon footprint. Local agricultural leaders will also share their perspectives. As we will demonstrate the various ways that agriculture, natural resources, and renewable energy can impact our environment.

The Radiant Rays are partnered with C4EE through the Empowering Young Women in Solar Internship. We are young women committed to educating and advocating for climate change and social justice. We host educational programs and events to spread awareness and provide for our community.
