TECHNOLOGY (Skills for Home, Work & Play)
CT01 Get to Know Your Computer (No Fee)
This course is designed for those who have little or no computer experience, but want to learn to navigate a Microsoft Windows platform computer and to perform basic tasks. Course Duration: (3) Sessions (6-8:30 pm) Session 1-3, March 5, 6 and 8. Location: OHS Room 17
CT02 Basic Microsoft Word (No Fee)
This course is designed for novice computer users who wish to develop word processing application skills and to learn helpful tips and tricks for maximizing Microsoft Word production. Course Duration: (3) Session (6-8:30 pm) Session 1-3, March 19, 20 and 23. Location: OHS Room 17
CT03 Basic Microsoft Excel (No Fee)
This course is designed for novice computer users who wish to develop spreadsheet application skills and to learn helpful tips and tricks for maximizing Microsoft Excel production. Course Duration: (3) Sessions (6-8:30 pm) Session 1-3, March 26, 27 and 29 Location: OHS Room 17
CT04 Basic Microsoft PowerPoint (No Fee)

CT05 Google It! (No Fee)
This course is designed to introduce computer users to the Google applications and will include Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, as well as YouTube. PP01 Love and Logic, Parenting the Love & Logic Way (No Fee)
This parenting program is designed to give you practical skills that can be used immediately. CREATIVITY & DESIGN
AC01 Understanding Drawing Materials (Fee $5.00)
This class is designed for students with a basic understanding and abilities in drawing. Students will explore how to utilize and create with a variety of art materials. Session I will concentrate on black and white mediums (pencil, charcoal, ink) and shading techniques to create value. Session II will concentrate on colored mediums (colored pencil, oil pastel, chalk, watercolor colored pencil) as well as a discussion on color theory. Session III will allow for students to utilize a drawing medium of their choice (from those listed prior) to create a composition up to 18” x 24” in size. Students may bring their own subject matter for Session III or are able to work from a still life set up. Course Duration: (3) sessions (6-8:30 pm) Session 1-3, March 20, 21 and 22. AC02 State of Missouri Outline/Silhouette Acrylic Painting (Fee $10.00)
Great for beginners and experts alike! Show your love for the State of Missouri (other states can be substituted if desired, please email instructor when enrolling). You will be able to choose your own personal design style, colors and theme (rustic, sports team, chevron, flora, etc.). Great for a living room, nursery, man cave, or any area of your house, or the perfect gift! Course Duration: (1) session (6-8:30 pm) Session 1, March 21 Location: OMS Room 101
AC03 Mixed Media Book Page Collage (Fee $10.00)
This is a perfect class to try your hand at collage or use skills you already have! We will use a variety of media (paper, Mod Podge, paint, etc.) to create a unique work of art perfect to display in any area of your home. You will be able to personalize your own style and design preferences. From shabby chic, superhero, rustic, sports, etc. Any theme you can think of we can make happen. Great for wedding, baby or birthday gifts! Course Duration (2) sessions (6-8:30 pm) Session 1-2, April 11 and 18. Location: OMS Room 101
AC04 Spring Wood Blocks (Fee $12.00)
We will use wood blocks to create 3 simple spring decorations. The first will be a painted bunny. The second will be a painted chick. The third will be a reversible sign with one side reading “Easter” and the other side reading “Spring”. Course Duration (1) session (6-8:30 pm) Session 1, March 22 Location: MCQ Room 30
AC05 Relaxation (Fee $7.00)
Each person will go home with a handmade batch of bath salts, a set of shower fizzies, and a bath bomb. These will not only help with aching feet, head colds, and stress; but will make great gifts to share. Course Duration (1) session (6-8:30pm) Session 1, April 5 Location MCQ Room 30
WW01 Basic Woodworking (Fee: Cost of materials used)
This course will introduce new/novice woodworkers to basic woodworking skills. A list of small projects will be available at class time.
