MBA for Youth (M4Y) – The Elite Class Teaching Students How to Accomplish Tasks in a Business World*
M4Y 2023 Summer Camp I Introduction:
This summer camp is designed for students in middle schools and high schools and the content is based on the curriculum of MBA for Youth* (M4Y) program with focus on marketing basics.
This class will review B001 (Business Concepts) and focused on M001 (Advertisement and Presentation Skills) with expanded contents. Students will learn how to create a basic business plan by developing their own business ideas, analyzing potential risks, and performing competitor analysis. In addition, students will learn how to design a marketing campaign and enhance their presentation skills. The overall goals are to help students learn fundamental business concepts, improve their capabilities of personal communication, collaborate with other team members, and use a set of simple marketing tools.
Students are expected to work in a 3-to-5-person group, create their own start-up marketing agencies, understand associated business risks, and report to the Board of Directors regarding future marketing campaign. Successful completion of this course will enable students to write simple business plan and marketing plan. No class limit.

Course Structure:
•
10 daily lectures (each 120 minutes) over Zoom with access to recorded videos
•
Daily office hours to interact with students (30 minutes)
•
Daily group assignments
•
Online simulations
•
One minor and one major team project with final roadshows
•
Course material will be delivered via Canvas and emails

Dates (weekdays, Mon. to Fri.): July 22, 2024 - August 2, 2024

Lecture Hours: 8:00 - 10:00 pm EDT (Beijing time: 8:00 - 10:00 am, the next day)

Tentative Roadshow presentation: 8:00 - 10:00 pm, August 2, 2024 (Friday)

Office Hours: Saturdays 7:30 - 8:00 pm EDT (or by appointment)

The complete tuition for summer camp (total 25 hours of virtual learning) is $700.
