Common Reading Program - Book Nomination

Tell us about a good book: one that inspires, provokes thought, or promotes community. The winning
book will be read by Laurier students in the Common Reading Program.

Simply use the criteria below to guide your selection and then complete the easy-to-fill form. If your
book is chosen, you will be eligible to win a $100 gift certificate from the Laurier Book Store! The
Selection Committee, composed of students, faculty, staff, and local high school teachers, will announce
the winner in the spring. We look forward to your suggestions!

Selection criteria:

• Speaks to the vision of the university and its values (justice, excellence, courage, sustainability)
• Is relevant to today’s students
• Is written by a Canadian or on a Canadian topic
• Preferably written by an author currently living
